Our Big Announcement
11/02/10 21:42 Filed in: Progress
As Anzac Day approaches this year we have been presented with an amazing opportunity. Thanks to John from Boronia Tours I will be accompanying him to Gallipoli this year to experience the peninsula so we can plan our tour with empathy and understanding.
Stuart is pushing full steam ahead with the promotions from up in Darwin and is making some great progress. I will be leaving for Istanbul on the on the 21st of April to take part in the Gallipoli ceremony on the 25th. I will then fly out of Istanbul on the 30th for London. Once in London I will be attempting to touch base with a few of our supporters. Then it’s back to Australia on the 6th of May.
The next big step is to gather some major sponsors to allow us to push ahead with our plan with Danny down in Melbourne. If we can cover the logistics from Gallipoli to Istanbul it will give us our exit strategy nice and early and we can plan backwards from there. This really feels like the start of a momentum that will take us all the way through to 2015. We cannot thank our supporters enough for this opportunity and we promise we will be taking full advantage of it to bring back the best possible information to help us plan the next step in the grand plan.
Recently a great bloke I had the privilege to work with retired after 50 years in the workforce. He said to me once ‘Proper Planning Prevents Piss Poor Performance’. I have never forgotten this and I believe it really applies here. As the day gets closer we will be giving you more updates as they arrive.
Cheers
